Importing a graphic into notes in an outline

In Windows, you can import GIF, JPEG, PICT, TIFF, PNG, Windows Bitmap (*.bmp) and Windows Metafile (*.wmf) files. You can insert only one graphic per note. The graphic is inserted at the end of any text you've already entered. If you try to insert a second graphic, it replaces the first.

To import a graphic into notes in an outline:

1.Select the topic where you want to insert the graphic into notes.

2.Choose Edit>Insert, then choose Graphic from the sub-menu.

3.Select the file, then click Open.

Notes:

You can drag a graphic into a note. Select the topic where you want the graphic to appear in notes and make sure the notes are showing. Open the folder containing the graphic file you want to place in the note. Drag the graphic file to the note. You cannot drag a graphic between notes within the mind map.

You can copy and paste a graphic into a note. In the graphics editing program, copy the graphic. Select the topic where you want the graphic to appear in notes. Make sure the notes are showing, and click in the note. On the Edit menu, choose Paste.
