Playing your presentation

There are two ways to play your presentation: manually and automatically.

Playing your presentation manually

Manual presentation means you will press a key or click the mouse to advance to the next slide or talking point. This allows you to vary your speaking pace, answer questions, or sip water between slides, without worrying that the next slide or talking point will be displayed before you are ready.

To play your presentation manually:

1.Open your Inspiration presentation document with Inspiration 10 or Inspiration Presenter.

2.Click the Play button on the Main toolbar.

The presentation will begin playing at the currently selected slide.

3.Click the mouse or press the Right Arrow key to advance to the next talking point or slide.

Playing your presentation automatically

Inspiration Auto Play runs your presentation, pausing for a specific length of time between each slide or talking point. This is useful for unattended presentations, such as for a science fair display.

To play your presentation using Auto Play:

1.Open your Inspiration presentation document with Inspiration 10 or Inspiration Presenter.

2.If you are using Inspiration 10, click the Play button on the Main toolbar.

3.Click the Presenter Control button then choose Auto Play from the shortcut menu.

You can also right-click to open the Presenter Control shortcut menu.

Before starting Auto Play, you may want to check the Auto Play Settings.

On the Inspiration 10 Presentation menu, choose Auto Play Settings.

In Inspiration Presenter, right-click on the title slide, then choose Auto Play Settings from the shortcut menu.
