Showing or hiding symbols in an outline |
You can better see your visual connections with the option to view symbols used in Diagram and Map View while working in your outline.
To show symbols in the outline:
•Click the Show Symbols button 
on the Formatting toolbar.

On the View menu, choose Show Symbols.
