When you print an outline, you can indent the notes as a way of distinguishing the notes from the topics and subtopics. Indenting notes in the Page Setup dialog does not affect how the outline appears on the screen.

To indent notes text:

1.On the File menu, choose Page Setup.

2.Click the Layout tab.

3.In the Note Indent list select the indentation style.

4.Click OK.
