Saving a document in Inspiration 8 format |
You can save Inspiration 10 documents in Inspiration 8 format so you can then open the document using the earlier version of Inspiration. When you save a document in Inspiration 8 format, some document formatting may be changed or lost, including:
•Videos in notes are converted to a graphic
•Hyperlinks in an outline may not work
•Symbols won't be displayed in an outline
•Presentations are not supported
1.On the File menu, choose Save As.
2.Select the folder in which to save the document.
3.Enter a name for the document.
4.Choose Inspiration Version 8 (*.isf) from the Save as Type pop-up menu.
5.Click Save.
6.You will be given one last chance to change your mind. In the confirmation dialog, click Cancel to not save your current document, click Version 8 to save it in Inspiration 8 format, or click Version 10 to save it in Inspiration 10's native format.
Note: Documents with mind maps cannot be saved in Inspiration 8 format.
Note: The Inspiration 10 file format is the same as Inspiration 9, so there is no need to convert files.
