You can add a frame around any multi-colour, photo-quality or animated symbol. After you add a frame, you can change the line thickness of the frame, the line colour of the frame and the fill colour of the frame. You can also add a fill pattern to the frame.

To add a frame to a symbol in a diagram:

1.Select the symbol.

2.On the Symbol menu, choose Frame.

The symbol has a frame when a tick appears next to Frame on the Symbol menu.
