When you cut and paste symbols, any links in the area you cut and paste are retained. Any links to symbols outside the area are deleted.

To cut and paste symbols:

1.Select the symbol.

2.On the Edit menu, choose Cut.

3.Click the background of the diagram where you want the symbol to appear.

4.On the Edit menu, choose Paste.
